Senior Performance Marketer (iGaming)

Own paid acquisition for 2–3 operators; optimise to 90-day cohort value, not CPI.

Most performance marketers in this industry have never seen a cohort report. They optimise to the number on the dashboard — installs, registrations, cost per FTD — and are surprised when finance says the players never came back. You have already made that mistake, you know exactly why the cheap FTD was the expensive one, and you are tired of buyers who have not learned it yet.

This role owns paid acquisition for two to three licensed operators across markets like Brazil, Canada, India and Tier-1 Europe. You will build and run the accounts, but the number you are judged on is not cost per FTD. It is what the cohort is worth at day 90.

What you’ll do

  • Own paid acquisition end to end for your operators: strategy, campaign architecture, creative briefs, budgets, reporting.
  • Run search, in-app, push, native and programmatic — and influencer and community traffic where the market allows — as a portfolio rather than a single source with a ceiling.
  • Optimise to FTD quality and 30-day redeposit, not registrations; cut sources that produce dead cohorts even when it makes the headline CPA look worse.
  • Build campaign structures around each market’s actual gambling policy: certifications, geo- and age-gating, mandatory messaging, compliant landing pages. Fewer dead accounts, no clever workarounds.
  • Localise the offer, not just the language: state by state, sport by sport, payment method by payment method.
  • Set up and defend the tracking chain — postbacks, click ID to player ID to deposit — and reconcile ad-platform numbers against the operator’s platform every month.
  • Present the weekly performance view and the monthly economics view to the client yourself, including the parts that did not work.

What we look for

  • 3+ years buying traffic for licensed casino or sportsbook brands, with at least one market outside Tier-1. Agency or in-house; what matters is that you have owned the number.
  • You can do cohort math without a spreadsheet template. You know why a €38 FTD can lose to a €61 FTD and you can explain it to a CFO in three sentences.
  • Compliance is part of the craft for you, not an obstacle. You have kept accounts alive in markets where most buyers lose them.
  • Comfortable saying “that won’t work” to a client — and comfortable being wrong about it in a weekly demo.
  • Creative judgement. You can brief a system of hooks and formats, spot fatigue before the dashboard does, and know when the landing page is the problem.
  • Written English that a client can forward to their board without translating first.
  • Nice to have: Portuguese, Spanish or Hindi; experience with ASO; hands-on tracking work (AppsFlyer, Adjust, server-side postbacks).

How we work

  • Remote-first. Work from wherever you do your best work. We overlap for a few hours a day for client demos and for each other; the rest of the day is yours to arrange.
  • No timesheets, no billable-hour targets. You are measured on the numbers your work moves — Reg2Dep, cost per FTD, D30 redeposit, organic revenue — not on hours logged.
  • Four-day build cycles, weekly client demos. Something ships every week and the client sees it. Long silences and big reveals are not how we operate.
  • Everyone talks to clients directly. Because a designer who has never heard an operator describe their CPA problem will design the wrong thing.
  • Licensed operators only. Nobody here has to decide whether they are comfortable with a brief. If the brand is not licensed for the market, we do not take it.
  • Your mistakes are welcome, once. Every case study we publish has a “what we’d do differently” section. That standard applies inside the team too.

What you get

  • Competitive salary paid in the currency you choose, reviewed every six months against the numbers you moved.
  • Budget for conferences — SiGMA, SBC, Affiliate World — and for any course or tool that makes you better at the job.
  • Equipment of your choosing and a home-office allowance.
  • A team that has sat on the operator side of the table and will argue with you about cohort math over lunch.

How to apply

Send work you are proud of and a short note about what you would want to do here. A link, a deck, a Loom, a dashboard screenshot with the numbers blurred — whatever shows how you think. No cover letter needed. We read everything and reply to everything, usually within a week.

We hire people from the industry, not people visiting it. If you have thought about this vertical and decided you are fine with it, we would like to hear from you.
